Availability

The source code of the kernel with glofiish device support can be found at git://git.openezx.org/gnufiish.git

Current Status

The biggest problem right now is the lack of a working modem driver. Once this is completed, FSO / Zhone or other actual phone related programs could be run on the device.

All status information relates to the M800 (and possibly X800) devices, unless otherwise indicated.

Fully working

  • LCM: Fully working. kernel framebuffer is working, kdrive runs on top
  • GPS: Fully working, power management like Openmoko (neo1973-pm-gps)
  • Bluetooth: Fully working, power management like Openmoko (neo1973-pm-bt platform device)
  • LED: They're all connected via the CPLD
  • GPIO buttons: Using regular /dev/input/event support

Partially working

  • M800 QWERTY keyboard support. Some timing problems lead to bogus characters

Under development

  • M800 capacitive buttons (capsense) driver
  • GSM Modem driver
  • FM Radio driver

Missing

  • Camera support
